The flight of a band is often difficult, risky, full of obstacles. Yet there are still those who, in a sky full of disillusion and disinterest in music – understood as a profession and not merely as a pastime – wants to make his emotions a message through the language of the notes. Someone wants to face a tricky trip, but wants to do it properly, elegantly, with their wings. In this spirit are born Ravenscry.
Behind them, an indispensable mess, an uncontrollable passion and enthusiasm that only the creative art embraces. They joined forces, finding the right chemistry for the flight. No challenge to the sky, no presumption, but the intention to take a step at a time, tracing a trajectory that will take them beyond the clouds. Not only courage and resourcefulness, but also work and dedication: characteristics of those who, like Ravenscry, wants at all costs take off, never to return to earth.

The Ravenscry first work entitled “One Way Out” will be released on 15th April 2011 by Wormholedeath/Dreamcell11. Their first full length has been recorded at Fear Studios and Suonovivo Studios and it’s been mixed by Fabrizio Grossi (Steve Vai, Steve Lukather, Slash, Laura Pausini, Cypress Hill, Alice Cooper) at Sounds Of Pisces in Los Angeles (USA). The mastering has been done in Los Angeles (USA) by Tom Baker at the Precision Mastering Studios (Judas Priest, Sevendust, Marilyn Manson, Megadeth and many more).
